Common name given to the larvae of insects in the order of Lepidoptera (Butterflies and Moths) and a few other species.

There are many different caterpillars around, and some, like the Monarch Butterfly Caterpillar are often bred by a large number of enthusiastic gardeners (Monarch Butterflies). However there are many types that can cause gardeners major problems, including the larvae of White Butterfly.

Caterpillars tend to feed on the soft leaves and leave the stems untouched. But if you’re not sure if it’s caterpillars, slugs or snail, go out at night with a torch and you can often spot the pest.

Spray with Organic Caterpillar Bio Control.

It’s a selective insecticide that affects the larvae of Lepidoptera insects and leaves beneficial insects like Bees unaffected.

For best results spray in the evening.

Other Options

Spray with Aquaticus Bugtrol. It’s an organic broad-spectrum insecticide that will kill a wide array of pests, including caterpillars.

If possible spray in the evening to avoid harming beneficial insects.
